This Musk Ox wool was salvaged from a tanned skin. The wool was separated from the skin and no other preparation done. I'm no expert in qiviut or spinning, so I don't know how tanning and washing affects the fibers, but I know you will be pulling lots of guard hairs! It is priced accordingly. Offered in 1 oz quantities. I have several ounces available. Can also purchase in 2 oz, or a 6 oz solid fleece.
This can also be used to stuff gloves for hand warming.
